The MAIART Cultural Artistic Association was founded in 2020 in Côte d’Azur, France, it being the repercussion of “Asociatia Culturala Maiart” from Romania.

In Romania, the association has been active for 14 years and over time has organized many cultural and artistic projects with national and international participants.

MAIART was born by the initiative of 8 students with the aim to facilitate access to culture for young people. We are helping individuals to learn how to recognize art, how to preserve
it and appreciate it at its fair value. This is achieved by seeking to draw the attention to cultural, ethical and moral values ​​by involving them in cultural, artistic and scientific
activities.
Our objectives are to raise the level of knowledge at both cultural and human level as well as to facilitate the cultural and artistic relationships between countries and
different cultures by presenting the values at national and international level of the traditions, arts, customs and folklore.

By organizing artistic, cultural and scientific activities and events, we hope to contribute through non-formal education at the development of the young generation,
to increase their level of self-awareness and to stimulate in a positive direction their desire for improvement.
